We are looking for a well-rounded team player who will provide a level of service that exceeds customer expectations. Help Desk Support Technician - Part-Time

Provide Desktop Support for coworkers experiencing IT issues. The Desktop Support Technician assists coworkers in resolving and/or troubleshooting IT problems in person, over the phone or via e-mail. The Desktop Support Technician works on projects that range from setting up new users to implementing new technologies organizationally.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides first point of service technical IT support to the entire workforce.
  • Resolve system issues including coordination between users and other IT personnel.
  • Escalate complex issues to the Network Administrator.
  • Maintain passwords, data integrity, and system security for the desktop environment.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, printers and other peripherals.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, testing, and repair of computer hardware.
  • Evaluate system configurations and software to ensure effective use of hardware resources.
  • Imaging desktops and laptops using Acronis True Image.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize outstanding issues.
  • Follow established procedures on daily work, occasionally utilizing best judgment when applicable.

Job Requirements Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A+ certified preferred. - Network+ certified preferred.
  • Prior experience imaging utilizing Acronis True Image or related software preferred.
  • 1 year of Help Desk or related technical experience preferred but not required.

Skills and Competencies

  • Working knowledge of PC hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and software products.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with or without assistance on occasion, and the ability to repetitively lift 20 lbs. unassisted.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours when necessary for special installations, implementations, and upgrades.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction when needed.
  • Proficient in Google Apps for Work products
  • Carry a Smartphone unit to ensure prompt communication.

AVP/Specialized Deposit Group

Hingham Institution for Savings is looking to hire within its Specialized Deposits Group.  Based in the Main Office in Hingham, the Specialized Deposit Group is a key contributor to the Bank's deposit growth and handles some of the Bank's most significant business, institutional, and government banking relationships.  This individual would be responsible for developing new business relationships as well as managing existing relationships with key customers and their staff.  He/she would serve as the primary banker for customers and would be responsible for assessing customer needs and delivering a full range of technology services as needed, including online banking and payments services (wire, remote deposit, ACH, and lockbox).  The SDG is co-located with the Commercial Real Estate Group and works closely with this team to deliver deposit services to commercial borrowers.

The SDG also plays an important role in our ongoing product development and process improvement efforts, aimed at providing a higher level of service to our customers, and may be responsible for identifying, testing, and delivering new products and services for our customers. Client Services Representative – Full-Time and Part-Time (Positions available in Boston and South Shore)

Hingham Institution for Savings is seeking Client Service Representatives (CSR) for both its Boston and South Shore locations. These individuals are responsible for providing outstanding service for the Bank's clients, educating clients about new deposit products and services, and supporting Branch managers and Assistant Branch Managers in business development efforts. We are interested in candidates that feel comfortable promoting and explaining our digital products, including online and mobile banking, to both digital natives and customers using these products for the first time.

Although previous background in banking may be helpful, it is not required and candidates with a strong retail background are encouraged to apply.
