Compass Working Capital needed a bank that provided them with the same exceptional level of service that they provide to their clients. The Boston-based nonprofit organization provides hands-on financial coaching to families with low incomes as a pathway to greater economic opportunity.
Compass had experienced frustration with former banks growing too quickly and sacrificing the level of service they provided to their customers as a result. They knew they wanted a local bank with direct access to bankers able to handle their requests when needed.
Since becoming a customer of the bank, Compass Working Capital has been extremely pleased with Hingham’s ability to provide highly customized service. Though the Bank’s close proximity was essential for Compass, they have not yet had to visit the branch due to the Bank’s sophisticated digital offerings which allow them to do all of their banking remotely. Also essential to Compass is Positive Pay, a fraud detection offering which the Bank performed for Compass manually prior to implementing the automated tool.
